4/5/99 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13597 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN INITIAL STUDY <br /> AND MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PROPOSED <br /> DEVELOPMENT - HOMESTEAD VILLAGE PROJECT <br /> <br /> (LCP ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Homestead Village (the "Developer") has submitted a <br />proposal for a hotel being four stories in height, containing 97 rooms, and <br />provide 97 parking spaces on a 2+ acre site at the end of Twin Dolphin Drive in <br />Redwood Shores of the City of Redwood (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental <br />studies and documentation is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code ~21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR ~15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's regulations implementive thereof ("City's CEQA Regulations"; <br />Resolution No. 6882, as amended); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's CEQA Regulations, City has determined <br />that said environmental studies and documentation shall be prepared pursuant <br />to contract entered into with a consultant subject to funding therefor by the <br />Developer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br /> costs to be incurred pursuant to said Agreement; and <br /> <br /> Reso-626 <br /> <br /> DES:djk <br /> 03~24~99 <br /> <br /> <br />
