WHEREAS, preparation of an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration is required to provide City's decision-making bodies with an objective <br />determination of impacts caused by the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, LCP Associates, Environmental Planners and Engineers of <br />Los Altos, California, represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Preparation of an Initial <br />Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (Homestead Village Project)" (form <br />dated 03/16/99), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and LCP Associates, Environmental <br />Planners and Engineers for the performance of the above-mentioned services, a <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and <br />the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br /> Reso-626 2 <br /> (~:~shared\redwood\council <br /> DE$:djk 13597 <br /> 03/24/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
