Box 754 <br />Redwood City, California 94064 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />5/14/89 CINCO DE MAYO/MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATION <br /> <br />Dear Tony: <br /> <br />The City Council on April 17, 1989 has authorized me to <br />issue this letter permitting Hispanos Unidos to conduct <br />the Cinco de Mayo/Mother's Day Celebration in Downtown <br />Redwood City, subject to and in accordance with the <br />terms and conditions herein. <br /> <br />The permission is granted to Hispanos Unidos, hereinafter <br />called "Permittee", by the City of Redwood City, hereinafter <br />called "City". This letter permit is subject to the <br />following terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Celebration. The Celebration events shall be sponsored <br />by and conducted by the Permittee. <br /> <br />2. Revocation. This permit may be revoked at any time <br />without cause by the City. This permit is non-transfer- <br />able. <br /> <br />3. Location. The City shall order the necessary temporary <br />street closures and provide barricades, but Permittee <br />shall be responsible for placing the barricades. The <br />streets as shown in "Exhibit A", shall be reserved for <br />the Celebration. <br /> <br />4. Dates, Time. The Celebration shall be held on Sunday, <br />5/14/89 from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. with set-up beginning <br />at 1 P.M. on 5/13/89 along portions of Hamilton and <br />at 6 P.M. on 5/13/89 in the rest of the area, through <br />midnight, 5/14/89 for take-down and clean-up. <br /> <br />1 of 5 pages <br /> <br />11015 <br />
