<br />Cinco de Mayo/Mother's <br />Day Celebration <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />5. Insurance. Permittee shall furnish to the City public <br />liability and property damage insurance naming the City <br />of Redwood City, its Council, boards, commissions, officers <br />employees and agents as insureds, or additional insureds, <br />insuring the same against all claims for personal injury <br />or death to any person or persons resulting or arising <br />from the conducting of the activities herein described, <br />or from any act or omission of Permittee in connection <br />therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person <br />and $1,000,000 for each occurance, and property damage <br />or injury to or destruction of property, including the <br />1055 of use thereof, in the amount of $500,000. Evidence <br />of the insurance required hereunder, in form satisfactory <br />to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City <br />prior to the commencement of said Celebration. <br /> <br />6. Damage to Public Property. It is understood and agreed <br />that Permittee shall be responsible for and shall reimburse <br />the City for the costs of any damages to or suffered by <br />City-owned property arising out of the conducting of the <br />Cinco de Mayo/Mother's Day Celebration permitted hereunder. <br /> <br />7. Compliance with Laws. Permittee shall comply with all <br />appropriate rules, regulations, and laws applicable to any <br />and all activities which are part of or associated said <br />Celebration. This permit shall be in addition to all other <br />permits which are or may be required for conducting said <br />celebration, or any activity associated therewith. <br />Specifically, Pemittee shall obtain necessary State A.B.C. <br />permits and County health permits. <br /> <br />8. Hold llarmless. Permittee shall assume the defense of and <br />indemnify and save harmless the City of Redwood City, its <br />Council, officers, boards, commissions, employees, and <br />agents from all suits, actions, damages or claims to which <br />the City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever <br />resulting from or arising out of the performance of failure <br />to perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise resulting <br />from or arising out of said celebration and the activities <br />herein permitted. <br /> <br />9. City Services. The City agrees to provide the following <br />requested services: <br /> <br />· Extra Police patrol during the event; <br />· Street sweeping on Friday before and Monday after; <br />· Make existing City electrical outlets and City water <br />sources along Broadway available; <br />· Provide 60 barricades to Police station yard for use by <br />Permittee. <br /> <br />11015 <br />
