FXS:djk 01/20/99 (058/38) <br /> <br /> 2/1/99 <br /> ORIGINAL -- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13548 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF MANZANITA <br /> AND HELLER STREETS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY PURSUANT <br /> TO PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, CALIFORNIA STREETS AND <br /> HIGHWAYS CODE; RESERVE A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT; <br /> SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS <br /> INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; <br /> AND ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, portions of Manzanita and Heller Streets in the <br />City of Redwood City, heretofore dedicated to public use, which <br />portions are more particularly described in and depicted on <br />Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein, are unnecessary for present or prospective <br />public use; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council intends to vacate said portions of <br />said public streets and reserve therefrom a public service <br />easement; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby declares its intention to vacate, <br />subject to the conditions listed on Attachment "I", those <br />portions of Manzanita and Heller Streets comprised of all that <br />certain real property located in the City of Redwood City, County <br />of San Mateo, California, more particularly described in and <br />depicted on Exhibit A, and hereby elects to proceed with such <br />vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 <br />(commencing with §8300) of the California Streets and Highways <br />Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
