<br />DES:d lr <br />DES:d <br /> <br />10/05/88 (007/24) <br />10/06/88R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10919 <br /> <br />OCT 1 01988 <br />COPt <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND <br />RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 10268 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10268, adopted August 4, <br /> <br />1986, a Traffic Committee was established by this Council for the <br /> <br />purposes, and to the perform the functions, therein described; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to rename the Committee, <br /> <br />revise its duties, and make other modifications to its governing <br /> <br />regulations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />TRAFFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED. <br /> <br />Thi s Counc i I <br /> <br />does hereby establish a Traffic Advisory Committee ("Committee") <br /> <br />which shall consist of seven (7) members, appointed by the <br /> <br />Council. All such members, at the time of their appointment, and <br /> <br />continuously during their incumbency, shall be residents and <br /> <br />electors of the City. <br /> <br />To the greatest extent feasible, the <br /> <br />Council shall appoint such members from various geographical <br /> <br />areas of the City. <br /> <br />2. TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP. Members of the Committee shall be <br /> <br />appointed for a term of four (4) years; provided, however, that <br /> <br />the terms of membership on the Traffic Committee established <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 10268, adopted August 4, 1986 by this <br /> <br />Council, shall govern the dates of appointment or reappointment <br /> <br />to the Traffic Advisory Committee established by this resolution. <br /> <br />10919 <br />
