A typical way to <br />obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: <br /> <br />Experience: <br /> <br />Three years of experience in teaching literacy skills, in adult <br />education, in working in/providing social services, or in <br />related fields. <br /> <br />Trainin9: <br /> <br />Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or <br />university with major Course work in education, social science, <br />human services or a related field. Graduate work in such <br />fields, particularly adult education, is also desired. <br /> <br />License or Certificate <br /> <br />Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California <br />driver's license. <br /> <br />Special Requirements <br />Bilingual ability may be required of some positions. <br /> <br />45 <br />
