<br />SW~:nt 01/27/88 (#20) <br />S', ~djk 02/01/88R <br /> <br />determined that the proposed fees will not create revenues in <br /> <br />excess of the amount required to perform those services for which <br /> <br />the fees will be charged; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 8227, adopted February 5, <br /> <br />1979 is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />"Section 1. <br /> <br />New Buildings, Additions and Alterations <br /> <br />to Existing Buildings. An applicant requesting a permit for <br /> <br />each new building or an existing building or structure is <br /> <br />required to obtain a combination building permit prior to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />commencement <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />any <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />including <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />structural, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work. No <br /> <br />such permit shall be issued unless the applicant complies <br /> <br />with the provisions of the Contractors License Law and <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />3800 <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Labor <br /> <br />Code <br /> <br />regarding <br /> <br />workers I <br /> <br />compensation insurance certification. <br /> <br />"After the payment of the plan review fee by the <br /> <br />applicant and completion of the plan review process, a <br /> <br />combination permit fee shall be paid to the Building <br /> <br />Official by the applicant. <br /> <br />Such fee shall be submitted <br /> <br />prior to the issuance of the combination permit for new <br /> <br />buildings or structures or for additions or alterations to <br /> <br />such buildings or structures. <br /> <br />A bui Iding permit may be <br /> <br />issued for signs or for an alteration, repair or demolition <br /> <br />2 <br />
