<br />DE nt 20/15/87 (#20) <br /> <br />between its bid as specified in, and accepted pursuant to, <br />Resolution No. 10644 ($329,104.57) and the bid of Kelly Business <br />Furniture ($333,602.12), viz., $4,497.55, Robert Morry, Inc. and <br />the surety on its bidder's security, and each of them, shall be <br />and hereby are, relieved of performance under the contract for the <br />purchase of furnishings (other than reader tables and chairs) for <br />the City's new Main Library. <br />2. The bid of Kelly Business Furniture in the sum of Three <br />Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Six Hundred Two and 12/100 Dollars <br />($333,602.12), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br />dated April 8, 1987 for the purchase of furnishings (other than <br />reader tables and chairs) for the City's new Main Library is <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said furnishings. <br />3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute all documents necessary or appropriate on behalf of the <br />City of Redwood City for the purchase of said furnishings in <br />accordance with the above-mentioned bid proposal of Kelly Business <br />Furniture, a copy of which proposal is on file in the office of <br />the City Librarian, to which reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars concerning the terms and condition thereof. <br />4. Any informality in the aforementioned bid of Kelly <br /> <br /> <br />Business Furniture is hereby waived, and, upon execution by Kelly <br /> <br />Business Furniture of purchase/sale documents of said furnishings <br /> <br />in accordance with the bid documents therefor, the City Clerk is <br /> <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to return to all unsuccessful <br /> <br /> <br />bidders, except Robert Morry, Inc., above-mentioned, the bid <br /> <br />2 <br />
