<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO.2 TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT FOR <br />DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES WITH <br />COLLECTION BUREAU OF AMERICA <br /> <br />This Amendment No. 2 is entered into and effective as of the ~ day of <br />December, 2008, extending the agreement dated December 18, 2006 (the <br />"Agreement") by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("RWC" or "City"), and Collection Bureau of <br />America, Inc., a California corporation, ("CBA" or "Consultant") (collectively, the <br />"Parties") for CBA to provide additional services to the City as set forth below. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. On May 16, 2008, the Parties executed Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement <br />to continue the provision of debt collection services by the Consultant for the automatic <br />dial and delivery of pre-recorded messages to businesses; and <br /> <br />B. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement for a period of six months. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Agreement, as may have been amended from time to time, is hereby <br />extended for a period of six months ending on May 16, 2009. <br /> <br />2. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br />time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3.
