<br />WHEREAS, the County Assessor has determined the full cash <br />value of the land as described in "Exhibit C", attached hereto and <br />incorporated by reference, for which said petition has been filed, <br />and has certified to this Council the cancellation valuation of <br />said land for the purpose of determining the cancellation fee <br />required pursuant to Government Code Section 51283; and <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR 81-04) has been <br /> <br /> <br />reviewed by this Council in connection with the proposed <br /> <br /> <br />cancellation of the aforesaid Wil1iamson Act contracts; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearing held upon this <br /> <br /> <br />matter on September 28, 1987, and upon consideration of the entire <br /> <br /> <br />record before it, this Council does hereby find and determine as <br /> <br />hereinafter set forth; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />A. This Council hereby finds, pursuant to Government Code <br /> <br />Section 51282 (a)(1) and (b), that cancellation of the <br /> <br /> <br />aforementioned Williamson Act contracts is consistent with the <br /> <br />purposes of the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, as <br /> <br />amended, for the following reasons: <br /> <br /> <br />(1) Cancellation is for land on which a notice of <br /> <br /> <br />nonrenewal has been given. Said notice, attached hereto as <br /> <br />"Exhibit D" and incorporated by reference, was incorporated into <br /> <br /> <br />the application for cancellation and served on the proper <br /> <br /> <br />governmental agency more than ninety (90) days prior to its <br /> <br /> <br />renewal date in accordance with Government Code Section 51245. <br /> <br />2. <br />
