<br />DF~:djk 7/27/87 (#20) <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby directed upon the passage and adoption of this resolution <br />to transmit a copy of the measure herein specified to the City <br />Attorney for the preparation of an impartial analysis of the <br />measure showing the effect thereof on existing law and the <br />operation of the measure. <br />SECTION 7. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby directed upon passage and adoption of this resolution to <br />cause the same to be published once in the official newspaper of <br />the City of Redwood City and in each edition thereof issued <br />during the day of publication. Said publication shall be <br />accomplished not more than 15 days from the date of adoption <br />hereof. <br />SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby further directed to <br />cause copies of the Charter amendment hereinabove set forth be <br />printed in convenient pamphlet form and in type of not less than <br />10 point, and to cause copies thereof to be mailed to each of the <br />qualified electors of the City of Redwood City and, until the <br />date of the Special Municipal Election to be held on November 3, <br />1987 to advertise in the official newspaper a notice that a copy <br />of said proposed Charter amendment may be had upon application <br />therefor. <br />SECTION 9. The City Clerk or the County Clerk of the County <br />of San Mateo, or other appropriate election official, is hereby <br />authorized and empowered to redesignate or change the letter <br />designation of the measure set forth in this resolution for the <br /> <br />8 <br />
