N A L -' 11/2/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13505 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR THE FUNDING OF <br /> OFF-SITE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO THE <br /> WOODSIDE CORRIDOR AND FUNDING OF TRAFFIC CALMING <br /> MEASURES <br /> <br /> (MID POINT TECHNOLOGY PARK) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 17, 1996, the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Redwood City certified an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) addressing the <br />development of six (6) buildings totaling approximately 468,855 square feet of <br />office/research & development (R&D) uses on the property located along <br />Broadway and bounded by Douglas Avenue, Second Street, and Bay Road in <br />Redwood City, California (the "Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the EIR included a traffic analysis (the "EIR Traffic Analysis") <br />which identified the Property's traffic impacts to Woodside Road/Middlefield <br />Avenue, Woodside Road/Bay and Woodside Road/Broadway (generally referred <br />to as the "Corridor") under existing conditions, cumulative impacts to the <br />Woodside Road/Bay intersection (the "Impacts") and increased traffic delays at <br />the Woodside Road/U.S. 101interchange; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the EIR identified potential mitigation measures for the <br />Impacts, but the mitigation measures were determined to be infeasible because <br />they would increase traffic delays at other locations along the Corridor; and <br /> <br /> F:~shared\Redwood\Council\ 1 <br /> Reso-470 <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 08/10/97 <br /> 10/27/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
