WHEREAS, on December 17, 1996, the Planning Commission of the City <br />adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program for the Property (the <br />"Monitoring Program") which included revised mitigation measures for the traffic <br />impacts to Woodside Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City approved an agreement with the Martin/Campus <br />Associates, the Owner of the Property, entitled "Agreement for the Funding of <br />Off-Site Roadway Improvements (Mid Point Technology Park)," as evidenced by <br />Resolution No. 13246, adopted November 3, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 20, 1998, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Redwood City approved an Amended Planned Development Permit to authorize <br />the construction of a 60,000 square foot addition to a building (Building E) <br />located on the Property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the formation of a Citywide or Areawide Traffic Impact Fee <br />Program and/or the Corridor Assessment District is not anticipated to feasibly <br />occur prior to issuance of building permits for the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notwithstanding that City has not adopted such Funding <br />Programs or established other funding mechanisms, City and Martin/Campus <br />Associates, L.P., the owner of the Property, desire to provide for traffic mitigation <br />for the Project by entering into this Amendment. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> F:~shared\Redwood\Cou ncil\ 2 <br /> Reso-470 <br /> FXS:rg <br /> 08/10~97 13 5 0 5 <br /> 10/27/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
