A <br />Staff Report will follow at that time, for the approval of contract documents, and for <br />the award of contract. <br /> <br />The complete proposed street overlay project involves resurfacing the following <br />steet segments: <br /> <br />1. Bay Road between Second Avenue and Florence Street <br /> <br />2. Florence Street between Bay Road and Marsh Road <br /> <br />3. Alameda de la~ Pulgas between Jefferson Avenue and Massachusettes <br />Avenue <br /> <br />4. Alameda de las Pulgas between Eaton Avenue and Brewster Avenue <br /> <br />Approval of this agreement will allow the City to receive reimbursement from the <br />County for its proportional cost share of overlaying this section of Bay Road. <br /> <br />Alternative <br />1. Repave the subject section of Bay Road, excluding the portion within the <br />County's jurisdiction. This will leave the pavement on one half of Bay Road <br />in a deteriorated condition. We do not know if, or when, the County will <br />program pavement improvements on this section of Bay Road. Repaving <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
