Based on grants submitted on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />by the Alliance and SamTrans, funding for the Redwood City Community Shuttle <br />Service Pilot Program is anticipated from the following sources: <br /> <br />~ Regional Transportation Fund for Clean Air from the Bay Area Air Quality <br />Management District ($14,064 for one year) <br /> <br />)> Lifeline Funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission through the <br />City/County Association of Govemments (C/CAG) of San Mateo County ($20,000 <br />per year for three years). <br /> <br />~ The City of Redwood City, with assistance from The Alliance and SamTrans, is in <br />the process of applying for The Congestion Relief Funding from C/CAG of San <br />Mateo County ($90,OOO for one year). <br /> <br />~ Employer contributions are anticipated to provide approximately $19,800 towards <br />the commuter shuttle portion of the program. This may increase due to more <br />employer participation than anticipated once the service is implemented. <br /> <br />~ The City of Redwood City has budgeted up to $75,000 annually in the Capital <br />Improvement Program, Traffic Impact Fees. The annual cost from the City of <br />Redwood City for the Shuttle Program will be between $36,000 {if all contributions <br /> <br />pa,ge 6 of 7 <br />
