<br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY. <br />OWNED PROPERTY SURPlUS; AND AUTHORIZING S-ALE <br />THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property <br /> <br />described as one 1988 Pierce Arrow Fire Engine, and more fully described on <br /> <br />Exhibit "An, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not <br /> <br />needed for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be <br /> <br />declared surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Government Code Section 37351 and Section 3-1/2 of <br /> <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City as amended, permits the sale of any City <br /> <br />property having an appraised value of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) or more <br /> <br />through public notice and public bid for not less than 90% of the appraised value; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, attached hereto is Exhibit "A" describing the surplus fire <br /> <br />engine. It has been appraised at a value of more than Five Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000). This piece of surplus property was originally purchased and put into <br /> <br />the fire service in 1987.
