-- 0 R I G I N A L -- 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13493 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> PURCHASE OF ONE (1) LTl 100' TRACTOR DRAWN AERIAL <br /> LADDER FIRE TRUCK UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE <br /> PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF SAN MATEO'S PURCHASE <br /> ORDER NO. P-37699 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br />the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br />on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Mateo's Purchase Order No. P-37699 <br />includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies <br />the opportunity to purchase equipment from Simon Ladder Towers, Inc. of <br />Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of San Mateo conforms to the <br />requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br /> <br />(1) LTl 100' Tractor Drawn Aerial Ladder Fire Truck from Simon Ladder Towers, <br />Inc. pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of San Mateo's <br /> <br />Purchase Order No. P-37699; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-515 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Councii <br />09/24/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
