<br />DES:sh 6/17/87 (#19) <br /> <br />JUN 2 ~ 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0 537 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING <br />UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER <br />UP: AND AUTHORI ZING <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN <br />SUPPLY UNIT (UPS) AND BATTERY~ <br />EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Code, the City Manager has advertised for bids for <br /> <br />the purchase a Uninterruptible Power Supply Unit (UPS) and <br /> <br />Battery Back Up for Central Computer System: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, four (4) bids were <br /> <br />received: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Liebert Corporation of Fremont, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of said company: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Liebert Corporation, Fremont, California, <br /> <br />for an Uninterruptible Power Supply Unit (UPS) and Battery Back <br /> <br />Up at a cost of $26,574.00, computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated June 9, 1987, for the sale of an <br /> <br />Un interruptible Power Supply Unit (UPS) and Battery Back Up is <br /> <br />hereby accepted: said bidder is hereby found and declared to be <br /> <br />.. <br />the lowest responsible bidder for said Uninterruptible Power <br /> <br />Supply unit (UPS) and Battery Back Up: and all other bids are <br /> <br />hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2.
