<br />DAS:Sh 2/23/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Redwood City, Sections 37350, 37350.5 and <br /> <br />37352 of the Government Code. <br /> <br />3. This Council hereby declares that it has found and <br /> <br />determined each of the following: <br /> <br />i. The public interest and necessity require the <br />Proposed Library; <br /> <br />ii. The Proposed Library is planned or located in the <br />manner that will be most compatible with the <br />greatest public good and the least private injury; <br /> <br />iii. The Subject Property is necessary for the Proposed <br />Library; and <br /> <br />iv. The offer required by Section 7267.2 of the <br />Government Code does not have to be made to the <br />owner or owners of record of the Subject Property <br />because such owners can not be located with <br />reasonable diligence. <br /> <br />4. The City Attorney and/or his designee is hereby <br /> <br />authorized to commence an action <br /> <br />in eminent domain <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />acquisition of the Subject Property, or otherwise to acquire the <br /> <br />property in accordance with the requirements of law. <br /> <br />5.
