0 R I G I N A L 9/21/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13458 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE <br /> PURCHASE OF ONE (1) REGENERATIVE AIR SWEEPER <br /> UNDER THE COOPERATIVE PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE <br /> CITY OF GALT'S PURCHASE ORDER NO. 4936 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2.80 of the Redwood City Code, the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by Section 54201 of <br /> the California Government Code to purchase materials, equipment, or supplies <br /> on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Galt's Purchase Order No. 4936 inctudes a <br /> Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other public agencies the <br /> opportunity to purchase equipment from GCS Western Power Equipment of <br /> Sacramento, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the City of Gait conforms to the <br /> requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2.80; and <br /> <br /> WHERE'AS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to purchase one <br />(1) Regenerative Air Sweeper from GCS Western Power Equipment pursuant to <br />the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the City of Galt's Purchase Order No. <br />4936; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-495 1 <br />DES:djk <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />09/02J98 <br /> <br /> <br />
