Mental Health <br />Consultant will provide high quality services as measured by the <br />Consultation Questionnaire. <br /> <br />II. Measurable Obiective 2: <br /> <br />To provide case consultation and direct intervention to children identified <br />as at- risk. <br /> <br />1. Identify children of concern. <br />2. Meet with parents and childcare providers and begin case consultation <br />3. With parental permission, observe the child in program and assess <br />functioning. <br />4. Meet regularly with childcare staff to help them understand child's behavior, <br />offer ideas regarding intervention, and support providers. <br />5. Meet with parents to help them understand behavior, offer ideas regarding <br />parenting strategies, developmental guidance and support <br />6. Whenever appropriate, meet with staff and parents together to ensure <br />collaboration and enhance communication. <br />7. Develop therapeutic plan of support <br />8. Provide (or as appropriate, make referrals for) short term parent child <br />psychotherapy <br />9.
