<br />DES:djc 8/1/86 <br /> <br />31 thereof. On the ballots and on the voting machines to be used <br /> <br />at said election, in addition to all other matters required by <br /> <br />law to be printed thereon, shall appear the following: <br />PROPOSITION C: Shall Sections 21 and 31 of the Redwood City <br />Charter be amended to provide that the Director of Finance <br />shall be appointed by the City Manager and to conform to <br />other Charter provisions? <br />SECTION 6. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby directed upon the passage and adoption of this resolution <br />to transmit a copy of the measures herein specified to the City <br />Attorney for the preparation of an impartial analysis of the <br />measures showing the effect thereof on existing law and the <br />operation of the measures. <br />SECTION 7. The City Clerk of the City of Redwood City is <br />hereby directed upon passage and adoption of this resolution to <br />cause the same to be published once in the official newspaper of <br />the City of Redwood City and in each edition thereof issued <br />during the day of publication. Said publication shall be <br />accomplished not more than 15 days from the date of adoption <br />hereof. <br />SECTION 8. The City Clerk is hereby further directed to <br />cause copies of the Charter amendments herein proposed to be <br />printed in convenient pamphlet form and in type of not less than <br />10 point, and to cause copies thereof to be mailed to each of the <br />qualified electors of the City of Redwood City and, until the <br />date of the Special Municipal Election to be held on November 4, <br /> <br />13 <br />
