DIRECTOR OF FINANCE: <br /> <br /> <br />"There shall be a Director of Finance who shall be <br /> <br /> <br />appointed by the Council City Manager. The Director of <br /> <br /> <br />Finance shall perform the duties, and exercise the <br /> <br /> <br />powers, of the City Auditor, City Treasurer, City <br /> <br />Assessor and City Collector in accordance with Sections <br /> <br /> <br />33, 34, 35 and 36 hereof, respectively, and the offices <br /> <br />sp8cifi~a in 5aid 5ection5 are hereby consolidated <br /> <br /> <br />under the offico of Director of Finance. or anyone or <br /> <br />more of said offices as may be consolidated under the <br /> <br />office of Director of Finance by ordinance of the <br /> <br /> <br />Council. Wherever in this Charter reference is made to <br /> <br /> <br />any of the foregoing enumerated officers such reference <br /> <br /> <br />shall be deemed to mean the Director of Finance~, to <br /> <br />the extent the corresponding offices thereof have been <br /> <br />consolidated. The Director of Finance shall also <br /> <br /> <br />perform such other duties, and exercise such other <br /> <br /> <br />powers, as may be prescribed by the Councilor the City <br /> <br />Manager." <br /> <br /> <br />(b) Said Charter amendment proposal shall be submitted to <br /> <br />the electors of the City of Redwood City at the Special Municipal <br /> <br /> <br />Election to be held in the City on November 4, 1986 in the form <br />of a proposal to amend said Charter by amending Sections 21 and <br /> <br />12 <br />
