<br />6/27/86 <br /> <br />A_g_R_g_g_M_g_H_I <br /> <br />This agreement, made and entered into this _____________ day of <br />__________________ , 1986, by and between the CITY.OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />a municipal corporation of the State of California, hereinafter <br />referred to as .City., and the Center for Independence of the Disabled <br />hereinafter referred to as .Contractor-; <br />WIT N E SSE T H: <br />WHEREAS. Contractor is a non-profit corporation of the State of <br />~ California which has been established for the principal purpose of <br />providing non-residential peer self-help support services by and for <br />the disabled geared to assist in their independence; and <br />WHEREAS, City desires to participate in said program by <br />contributing financial assistance to aid Contractor in providing <br />the above mentioned services to residents of the City of Redwood <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has represented to City that it is experienced <br />and qualified to perform such services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and <br />agreements herein set forth, the parties hereto do hereby agree <br />as follows: <br />1. ~QH!BA~!QB~~_~!A!Y~~ In the performance of the obligations <br />set forth in this agreement, Contractor shall have the status of an <br />independent Contractor and in no sense shall Contractor be considered <br />
