<br />DES:djc 5/16/86 <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10211 <br /> <br />MAY 1 9 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR FUNDING OF CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY COMMUNITY CRIME RESISTANCE PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City desires to undertake a <br /> <br />project designated "City of Redwood City Community Crime <br /> <br />Resistance Program" (the "Project") to be funded in part from <br /> <br />funds made available through the general fund of the State of <br /> <br />California pursuant to Chapter 1215, Statutes 1985, for the <br /> <br />California Community Crime Resistance Program, and/or federal <br /> <br />funds as authorized under the Justice Assistance Act of 1984, <br /> <br />Public Law 99-473, administered by the office of Criminal Justice <br /> <br />Planning ("OCJP"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to apply to the OCJP for such <br /> <br />funds for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain application to the OCJP for funding of the <br /> <br />Project for fiscal year July 1, 1986 through June 30, 1987, a <br /> <br />copy of which application is on file in the office of the Chief <br /> <br />of Police, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute said application, grant <br /> <br />award, and any and all other documents necessary or appropriate <br /> <br />in furtherance of said application, <br /> <br />and to submit said <br /> <br />application to the OCJP. <br /> <br />10211 <br />
