MAIN STREET HISTORIC DISTRICT - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br /> Proposed Action: Application to designate eight properties in the Downtown as <br /> the "Main Street Historic District" <br /> <br /> Recommendation: Recommend approval to the City Council <br /> <br /> Project Planner: Charles Jany; 780-7239; cjany(~,redwoodcity.orq <br /> <br /> Mr. Jany said that the Historic Resources Advisory Committee had been working <br /> on this topic for several years, indicating that this work required a lot of research <br /> and work by the HPAC members. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ken Rolandelli, Chairman of the Historic Resources Advisory Committee said <br /> that four properties located within the proposal historic district already have <br /> Historic (National Register-eligible) District status. He added that this district <br /> contains four individuals historic landmarks: <br /> o**o 726 Main Street <br /> 4° 2000 Broadway <br /> o:o 2020 Broadway <br /> o.*o 2022-2024 Broadway <br /> <br /> He explained that there would not be any regulatory changes or additional <br /> benefits to this properties. <br /> <br /> <br />
