The building at 808 Walnut Street is determined to be a <br /> <br /> <br />public nuisance because such building endangers the life, health, <br /> <br /> <br />property and safety of the occupants of such building and affects <br /> <br />the health and safety of the neighborhood and persons in the <br /> <br /> <br />surrounding vicinity of such structure. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />such building constitutes a public nuisance are shown in the <br /> <br />Building Department report, labeled "Exhibit B", attached hereto <br /> <br /> <br />and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />3. The owners of the building at 808 Walnut Street are <br /> <br /> <br />hereby directed to abate such public nuisance within thirty (30) <br /> <br /> <br />days from the date of this hearing by either (a) properly <br /> <br /> <br />constructing or repairing such building or (b) razing or removing <br /> <br />such building. <br /> <br /> <br />4. The owners of such building are hereby notified that <br /> <br /> <br />unless the owners abate such nuisance within such thirty (30) day <br /> <br /> <br />period the building will be razed or removed by the City and all <br /> <br />expenses thereof shall be made a lien on the property at 808 <br /> <br />Walnut Street (APN 053-233-190) in accordance with the provisions <br /> <br />of Section 9.8 of the Redwood City Code. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
