<br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />HOUSING COORDINATOR <br /> <br />DEFINITION <br /> <br />To assist the Housing Officer in providing responsible and technieal staff <br />assistance in the eoordination and direction of the City's housing and <br />community development programs; to partieipate in the administration of CDBG, <br />redevelopment, and other programs; and assist in the development and <br />maintenance of the Housing Element of the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED <br /> <br />Receives general supervision from the Housing Offieer. <br /> <br />Exereises technical and functional supervision over lower staff assigned to <br />the housing division. <br /> <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - Duties may inelude, but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />Assist with the administration of the CDSG program (e.g. housing rehabilita- <br />tion), Redevelopment Program, and other sueh programs; develop and monitor <br />budgets; oversee daily activities. <br /> <br />Prepare federal grant applications and reports. <br /> <br />Direct assigned professional and teehnieal personnel to ensure optimum usage of <br />staff time and the optimum observance of priorities among projeets and <br />assignments. <br /> <br />Adapt federal regulation changes to programs and coordinate progress with <br />others. <br /> <br />Research and analyze data for performance reports and Housing Assistance Plans. <br /> <br />Prepare federal environmental reports. <br /> <br />Collect and maintain required data for federal monitoring and continued <br />funding. <br /> <br />Serve as coordinator in dealing with agencies of the state and federal <br />government in community development programs. <br /> <br />Coordinate and market Housing Rehabilitation Programs. <br /> <br />Assist in the development and supervision of housing rehabilitation financing <br />programs. <br /> <br />Pa~ I of 4 <br />
