<br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />Housing Coordinator (Continued) <br /> <br />Assist in determining housing and other physical needs of the City. <br /> <br />Prepare written reports advising property owners of housing regulations and <br />means and methods of correction. <br /> <br />Monitor rehabilitation job progress for compliance to speeifications and various <br />codes. <br /> <br />Follow deficiencies from initial inspection through legal process to enforee <br />compliance; eoordinate team inspections. <br /> <br />Act as liaison with City departments and involved ageneies to assure that <br />program objectives meet City housing objectives. <br /> <br />Assist in condemnation procedures and relocation of affected oeeupants. <br /> <br />Prepare speeifications and eost estimates; review bids to assist property owners <br />in contractor selection. <br /> <br />Represent the City in inter-departmental, eommunity, and professional meetings <br />as required. <br /> <br />Prepare eomprehensive reports based upon research and analysis of rehabilita- <br />tion and development problems. <br /> <br />Prepare and submit loan requests to Loan Committee; act as loan officer to <br />underwrite and package loans. <br /> <br />Serve as Contract Compliance Coordinator for City's federally funded capital <br />improvement projects. <br /> <br />Hold preeonstruction conferences; review eertified payrolls and monitor <br />contracts for compliance to labor standards, equal opportunity and employment <br />provisions. <br /> <br />Supervise and train temporary elerical help and subordinate staff. <br /> <br />Provide housing referrals to the public. <br /> <br />Perform related duties as assigned. <br /> <br />QUAL!
