<br />Dr.B:sh 11/20/85 <br /> <br />OR\G\NAl <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ O. -lO...O..B-5 <br /> <br />DEe 2 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING AN EMERGENCY ACCESS EASEMENT IN THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Chapter 4 <br /> <br />(commencing at ~8330) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways <br /> <br />Code of the State of California, the Council of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City declared its intention to vacate the emergency <br /> <br />access easement, hereinafter described in Exhibit "A", attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and <br /> <br />Highways Code, the emergency access easement proposed to be <br /> <br />vacated has been superceded by relocation of the emergency <br /> <br />accessment easement as described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto <br /> <br />and incorporated herein by this reference, and no other public <br /> <br />facilities are located within the vacated easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, from and after the date of this resolution is <br /> <br />recorded the easement vacated shall no longer constitute a <br /> <br />street, highway, or public service easement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described emergency access easement is unnecessary <br /> <br />for present or prospective public purposes and hereby summarily <br /> <br />orders <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />emergency <br /> <br />access <br /> <br />easement <br /> <br />vacated <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />more <br /> <br />particularly described in Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />:voss <br />
