<br />DCB:sh 10/30/85 <br /> <br />OD"'If"AL <br />nlbil'r <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />!! o. 1 0 0 5 4 <br /> <br />~ - <br /> <br />NOV 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONDEMNING BUILDING AT 3-9 DILLER STREET AS <br />A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND DIRECTING RECONSTRUCTION OR <br />REMOVAL THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Division of the City has determined <br /> <br />that the building located at 3-9 Diller Street is a public <br /> <br />nuisance as defined by Section 9.5 of the Redwood City Code <br /> <br />because of serious and numerous violations of the Fire Code, <br /> <br />Uniform Building Code, Uniform Housing Code, Uniform Plumbing <br /> <br />Code, and the Electrical Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Building Division has given notice as evidenced <br /> <br />Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br /> <br />reference, to the owner of the building at 3-9 Diller Street, to <br /> <br />appear before this City Council to show cause, if any, why such <br /> <br />building should not be declared to be a public nuisance and <br /> <br />abated in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9 of the <br /> <br />Redwood City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received extensive evidence that <br /> <br />many violations of the Uniform Building Code, Uniform Housing <br /> <br />Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and the Electrical Code exist in the <br /> <br />building at 3-9 Diller Street in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The building at 3-9 Diller Street is hereby determined <br /> <br />to be a public nuisance because such building constitutes a fire <br /> <br />hazard and because such building endangers the life, health, <br /> <br />10054 <br />
