- 8/18/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13402 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REPLACEMENT <br /> AND/OR REPAIR OF MOTORS FOR THE VARIOUS PUMP <br /> STATIONS IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published for <br />the replacement and/or repair of motors for the various pumps stations in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publications three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, E & M Electric & Machinery, Inc. of Healdsburg, California, for <br />motor replacement and/or repair, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br />intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of E & M Electric & <br />Machinery, Inc.; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of E & M Electric & Machinery, Inc., in the total amount of <br />Twenty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-nine and 38/100 Dollars <br />($27,529.38), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated August <br />4, 1998, for replacement and/or repair of storm and sanitary sewer motors for the <br />various pump stations, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />Reso-474 1 <br />DE$:djk <br />O:/Shared/Shared/Redwood/Councrl <br />08/10/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
