DES:d~k 06/09/98 (078/32) <br /> <br />particularly appears from the certificates and affidavits thereof <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the hearing thereon was duly and regularly held at <br />the time and place advertised in said notice; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no written protests objecting to the Report were <br />filed with the City Clerk at or before the time set for hearing <br />by the owners of more than 1/2 of area of the property in the <br />Seaport Centre Maintenance District subject to the special <br />benefit assessments described in the Report, and all persons <br />interested desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be <br />heard and all matters and things pertaining thereto were fully <br /> <br />heard and considered by this Council; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and orders as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The owners of more than I/2 of the area of the property <br />in the Seaport Centre Maintenance District in the City of Redwood <br />City subject to special benefit assessments to pay the costs and <br />expenses of maintaining and operating the local public <br />improvements described in the above-mentioned Resolution No. 9859 <br />did not, at or prior to the time fixed for the above-mentioned <br />hearing, file written protests against the levy of said <br />assessments pursuant to Ordinance No. 1895. <br /> <br /> (b) All written protests and objections, if any, and other <br />written communications were publicly read at said hearing and all <br /> <br /> 3 13373 <br /> <br /> <br />
