"_"K'.'." -~.- ~ <br /> <br />.\ . <br /> <br />Utilizes proper safety precautions related to all work performed. <br /> <br />Reads and interprets maps of underground sewer, water, and <br />drainage systems. <br /> <br />Performs related duties as assigned. <br /> <br />Water Service <br /> <br />Operates dump truck. <br />Measures and cuts pipes. <br /> <br />Locates main and other lines with T-Scope. <br /> <br />When assigned to valve truck, operates and repairs valves as needed. <br /> <br />Reads grade stakes for water service, meter height, and fire hydrants. <br /> <br />Sets and reads grade for trenching machine. <br /> <br />Performs related duties as assigned. <br /> <br />Traffic Sign and Paint <br /> <br />Paints or stencils such traffic directional markings as crosswalks, <br />safety loading zones, bus stops, parking and center lines and <br />railroad and school crossings. <br /> <br />Paints and stripes barricades and guard rails, brush and spray <br />painting. <br /> <br />Operates striping machine as needed. <br /> <br />Cuts and prepares stencils. <br /> <br />Maintains, cleans, and repairs painting equipment and stencils. <br /> <br />Sets up proper pattern of cones and signs to control traffic for <br />safety purposes. <br /> <br />Makes inspections to find street signs that needs repairing or <br />replacing. <br /> <br />Lays out, fabricates and installs regulatory, guide, warning, and <br />construction signs; straightens and resets street signs and parking <br />meter poles. <br /> <br />Submits reports of work done. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
