6/22/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13367 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR THE RECEIPT OF FUNDING FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF <br /> BOATING AND WATERWAYS FOR THE REMOVAL AND <br /> DISPOSAL OF ABANDONED VESSELS WITHIN THE <br /> WATERWAYS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> APPOINTING THE PORT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (PORT <br /> MANAGER) TO BE THE CITY'S DESIGNEE FOR THE <br /> IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners and the City of Redwood City, by and through its Council <br />approved a Joint Resolution (City, Resolution No. 12946; Port, Resolution No. P- <br />1517) to evidence their dedication to the removal and disposal of abandoned <br />and unseaworthy vessels from the Port Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Assembly Bill 1188, the sum of Five Hundred <br />Thousand Dollars ($500,000) has been appropriated from the Harbors and <br />Water Crafts Revolving Fund of the Department of Boating and Waterways for <br />apportionment to the City of Redwood City to fund the removal and disposal of <br />abandoned vessels; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, by and through its Board of Port <br />Commissioners, has received and reviewed an agreement entitled, "Standard <br />Agreement - STD.2 (Rev. 5-91)" (the "Agreement") from the Department of <br />Boating and Waterways; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has received and reviewed the <br />Agreement; and <br /> <br /> <br />
