.... 6/22/98 <br /> <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13364 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO <br /> (2) LEAF VACUUMS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Redwood <br />City Code, the City Manager caused public notice inviting bids to be published <br />for the purchase of two (2) leaf vacuums for the Department of Public Works <br />Services of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc. of Sacramento, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Municipal Maintenance Equipment, Inc., in the total amount <br />of Forty-four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-nine and 22/`100 Dollars <br />($44,229.22), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 22, <br />'1998 for the sale of two (2) leaf vacuums, which bid is on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for the sale of said vacuums to the City. <br /> <br />DES:djk <br /> <br /> <br />
