6. Dates and Times: The hours of closing will be from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday,
<br /> September 19, 1998, to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 1998. It is
<br /> understood that the booths can remain in place overnight, with the exception
<br /> that the intersection of Jefferson and Broadway must be clear of displays after
<br /> closing on Saturday night. This is so that Jefferson can be open to traffic
<br /> overnight.

<br /> All alcoholic beverage sales will stop at 5:00 p.m. each day,
<br />
<br />7. Insurance: Permittee shall furnish to the City public liability and property
<br /> damage insurance naming the City of Redwood City, its Council, boards,
<br /> commissions, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents as insureds, or
<br /> additional insureds, insuring the same against all claims for personal injury or
<br /> death to any person or persons resulting or arising from the conducting of the
<br /> activities herein permitted, or alleged to have resulted or alleged to have
<br /> arisen therefrom, or from any act or omission to act, of Permittee in
<br /> connection therewith, in the amounts of $1,000,000 for each person and
<br /> $1,000,000 for each occurrence, and property damage insurance for damage
<br /> or injury to, or destruction of property, including the loss of use thereof, in the
<br /> amount of $1,000,000. Evidence of such insurance coverage in form
<br /> satisfactory to the City shall be furnished by Permittee to the City at least ten
<br /> (10) days prior to commencement of the event.
<br />
<br />8. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the
<br /> costs for any damage to City owned property, caused by or arising out of, the
<br /> conducting of the activities permitted hereunder, or the acts, or omissions to
<br /> act, of persons participating in said event. Tarps or other material shall be
<br /> employed to protect sidewalk areas within booths selling food cooked on-site.
<br /> All signs or other markings placed in or upon public property, including the
<br /> public right-of-way in connection with the activity shall be removed
<br /> immediately following said event.
<br />
<br />9. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and
<br /> applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of
<br /> said event, or any activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in
<br /> addition to all other permits, which are or may be required for conducting said
<br /> event, or any activity associated therewith.
<br />
<br /> 10. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and
<br /> save harmless the City of Redwood City, its Council, officers, boards,
<br /> commissions, employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions,
<br /> damages, or claims to which the City may be subjected of any kind or nature
<br /> whatsoever, resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to
<br /> perform of Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of
<br /> said event herein permitted.
