to contract entered into with Consultant subject to funding therefor by the <br />Developer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and <br />costs to be incurred pursuant to said Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, preparation of an Initial Study and Negative Declaration is <br />required to provide City's decision-making bodies with an objective determination <br />of impacts caused by the Project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, EDAW, Inc. of San Francisco, California, represents that it <br />possesses the experience, and is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for <br />the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Preparation of a Negative <br />Declaration/Initial Study (Franklin Street Area Project)" (form dated 04/21/98), by <br />and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />California, and EDAW, Inc. for the performance of the above-mentioned <br />services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />Reso-403 2 <br />G:~shared\redwood\council 13 3 3 8 <br />DES:djk <br />04/21/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
