6.1 F <br /> Page 6 <br /> SECTION 1 - RECOGNITION <br /> 1.1 Union Reco$nition <br /> Redwood City Potice Officers Assaciation, hereinafter referred to as "the <br /> Association," has been recognized as the Majority Representative, pursuant to <br /> the Employer-Emptoyee Resotution of the City adopted August 7, 1972, for the <br /> regular futl-time employees assigned fio the ctasses set forth in Section 7 of this <br /> MOU. This unit of emptoyees shal! for the purpase5 of identification be titled <br /> the Potice Unit. <br /> 1.2 Emp(aver Reco�nition <br /> The City Manager is the representative of the City of Redwood City, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "the City," in employer-employee relations pursuant to the <br /> Emp[oyer-Employee Resotution of the City adopted Au�ust 7, 1972. <br /> SECTION 2 - EEO/ADA <br /> 2.1 No Discrfmination <br /> it is the poticy of the City of Redwood City to provide equal emptoyment <br /> opportunity to ali employees and applicants for employment.
