6.1 F <br /> Page 14 <br /> The City will provide for all new Police Officers the fotlowing articles <br /> af uniform ctothing: <br /> 3 pairs of pants <br /> 3 long-s[eeve shirts <br /> 3 short-steeve shirts <br /> 1 underbelt <br /> 1 cold weather (non-leather) jacket with patches <br /> 1 dress cap or baseball cap with patch (officer's choice) <br /> 1 dress tie <br /> 2 name tags <br /> $125.0� maximum annuat reimbursemenfi for baots (purehase or <br /> resoling). <br /> 7.13.2 The City will provide for all Police Officers cteaning, attering, <br /> repairing and/or reptacement of damaged uniforms as authorized by <br /> the Po[ice Chief or his/her designee. <br /> Such furnished uniforms shalt remain the property of and under the <br /> contral of the City. <br /> At the end of each fiscal year, the Finance Department will calculate <br /> the total cost of cleaning, altering, repairing and/or replacernent of <br /> damaged uniforms. This total cost will be divided by the number of <br /> Police Officers who have been assigned to patrol duty during the fiscal <br /> year. The time during which a Potice Officer is assigned to detective <br /> duty during the fiscal year shall not be factored into the calcutations <br /> described herein. The resulting quotient will be part of the PERS <br /> reportable compensation only for those Police Officers who were <br /> assi�ned to patrat duty at any time during the fiscal year. Any <br /> Officers assigned to patrot duty for less than the full fiscal year witl <br /> have this amaunt prorated based on the number of pay periods <br /> assi�ned to patrol. <br /> 7.13.3 Police Officers assi�ned as detectives will receive a uniform allowance <br /> of TwenCy-six dotlars and ninety-three cents ($26.93) each pay period <br /> as part of their regutar paychecks for all pay periods during which <br /> they are assigned as detectives. This amount will be PERS reportable <br /> compensation. <br /> 7.13.4 Artictes 7.73.2 and 7.13.3 are mutuatly exclusive such that at no time <br /> shalt a Police Officer have his/her PERS reportable compensation <br /> increased as described in Article 7.13.2 and aEso receive a ur►iform <br /> allowance as described in Article 7.13.3 for the same time period. <br /> 11 <br />
