Three administrative holidays and such other days as may be proclaimed <br /> tocal holidays. <br /> If one of t!;e holidays l;sted above falls during the employee's vacation or �n ar <br /> employee"s day off or if an employee is scheduted or required to work on a <br /> holiday, the employee shall be altowed a regular workday off at a time <br /> determined by agreement between the emptoyee and the Departmenfi Head. If <br /> the Department Head determines that it is not feasibte to grant such other <br /> wark�ay aff, the emptoyee shalt be paid far the hotiday on the basis of time <br /> and one-half (1-1/2) but not to exceed ten (10) hours for any one (1) hotiday. <br /> In the event any of the holidays specified in this section occurs while an <br /> employee is on vacation or sfck teave, the holiday shall not be charged as <br /> vacation or sick leave. <br /> A hoEiday that falls on Saturday shall be celebrated on Friday and a holiday that <br /> falls on Sunday shall be celebrated on Monday. <br /> In the event that any Administrative Holiday has not been used by the tast pay <br /> period in the year (based on the preceding 26 pay periods), payment will be <br /> made no later than the first pay period in February. <br /> 12 <br />
