<br />DP~:djg-c 5/31/85 <br /> <br />JUN 3 1985 <br /> <br />9888 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY WITH RESPECT TO EXERCISE OF THE <br />POWER OF EMINENT DOMAIN <br /> <br />(SEAPORT BOULEVARD RIGHT-OF-WAY WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENTS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9875, adopted May 6, <br /> <br />1985, this Council declared its intention to adopt a resolution <br /> <br />of necessity with respect to the exercise of the power of eminent <br /> <br />domain, and set a hearing date thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, further pursuant to said resolution and notice duly <br /> <br />given in accordance therewith, hearing was held on June 3, 1985 <br /> <br />by this Council on the question of adoption of a resolution of <br /> <br />necessi ty with respect to the exercise of eminent domain to <br /> <br />acquire the real property described in Exhibit "A" hereof, <br /> <br />attached hereto, and by this reference incorporated herein (the <br /> <br />"Subject Property"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, no written requests to appear and be heard at said <br /> <br />hearing were filed within IS days from the date of the aforesaid <br /> <br />notice in accordance with said notice and Code of Civil <br /> <br />Procedure Section 1245.235(c); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at said hearing all persons present were afforded <br /> <br />an opportunity to be heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the Subject <br /> <br />Property for public purposes as hereinafter stated; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9888 <br />
