M/S Ira/Howard to adopt the following policy statement on public spaces: <br /> <br />"It is the policy of the City of Redwood City that in the design of public and private <br />projects high priority be given to creating comfortable and enjoyable public spaces. PUBLIC HEARING - <br /> <br />A. PUBLIC HEARING on the Historic Landmark Designation of "The Daniel Stafford <br /> House" at 197 Wellesley Crescent; (612) <br /> <br />Principal Planner Jany and Historic Resources Advisory Committee Ken Rolandelli gave <br />the report and a video presentation of the house proposed for the Historic Landmark <br />Designation, "The Daniel Stafford House". <br /> <br />Council asked about any implications of this designation and Mr. Jany explained that it <br />provides for eligibility for a 10 year Mills Act Contract that reduces property taxes in return <br />for a high level of maintenance of the property. <br /> <br />Mayor Ruskin opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />M/S Ira/Howard to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. <br /> <br />M/S Howard/Jordan to adopt RESOLUTION 14378 DESIGNATING 197 WELLESLEY <br />CRESCENT, THE DANIEL R. STAFFORD HOUSE, REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA, AS A <br />HISTORIC LANDMARK; <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. <br /> <br />13.
