<br />DCB:sh <br />DCB:sh <br /> <br />9/13/84 <br />10/23/84R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 729 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />APPROVING AND ORDERING WITHDRAWAL FROM EMERALD LAKE <br />HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT AND MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION <br />TO DETACH FROM THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF THE COUNTY OF <br />SAN MATEO CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY AND TO ANNEX <br />SAID TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; DESCRIBING <br />SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME "PROPOSED <br />ANNEXATION OF LANDS OF ANDERSON TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY (0.66 ACRES)" AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS <br />RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the Local <br /> <br />Agency Formation Commission of the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, a written description of a proposed municipal <br /> <br />reorganization to detach from the unincorporated area of the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo and annex to the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />that territory which is hereinafter described; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing and <br /> <br />finding tha t , <br /> <br />said Local Agency Formation Commission has <br /> <br />prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report to this Council upon <br /> <br />said detachment and annexation proposal, all as required by law, <br /> <br />and that said Commission has approved said reorganization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council further has received evidence showing, <br /> <br />and hereby finds that: <br /> <br />(1) Said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and <br /> <br />touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; <br /> <br />9 7~ 9 <br />
