2/23/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13285 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> EMERGENCY MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> (WWARN 1997 OMNIBUS MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the California Office of Emergency Services, the Department <br />of Health Services, and the California Utilities Emergency Association ("CUEA") <br />have expressed interest in the establishment of a plan to facilitate and <br />encourage wastewater treatment and/or collection agency mutual aid <br />agreements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Wastewater Agency Response Network ("WWARN") <br />serves as a forum for the development of mutual aid agreements between <br />wastewater agencies and the State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the WWARN 1997 Omnibus Mutual Aid Agreement (the <br />"Agreement") is sponsored by WWARN as a uniform mutual aid agreement for <br />the use of wastewater agencies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, VVWARN intends to renew and revise the Agreement as <br />necessary and annually to publish a list of all wastewater agencies which have <br />entered the Agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement conforms to the requirements of the California <br />Emergency Services Act (Ch. 7 [commencing with I~ 8550] Div. 1, Title 2 of the <br />Cal.
