Keller, dba Able Cab Co., a subsidiary of <br /> <br />Palo Alto Yellow Cab Co., has filed with this Council an applica- <br /> <br />tion for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for the <br /> <br />purpose of operating taxicabs in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 33 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, this Council after duly noticed public hearing, and <br /> <br />upon consideration of the aforesaid application, and upon public <br /> <br />testimony having been presented therefor, finds that the public <br /> <br />convenience and necessity require additional taxicab service in <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Upon consideration of the application of Jim E. Keller <br /> <br />for a Certificate of Public Convenience, this Council hereby <br /> <br />declares that public convenience and necessity require additional <br /> <br />taxicab service in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />In making such <br /> <br />declaration, this Council has investigated and considered the <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br />(a) The demand of public for additional taxicab <br />service. <br /> <br />g~ 6:-l 0 <br />
