OBIGINAL <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> 'for <br /> <br /> OPERATION BROWN BAG PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK OF <br /> SANTA CLARA AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~day of <br />m~o~. 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> rporation of the State of Califomia, .(City), and SECOND HARVEST <br /> <br />FOOD BANK OF SANTA CLARA AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES, a California <br />nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts an Operation Brown Bag persons who reside <br />in the City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br />the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and <br />ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br />the sum of Five Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) from its Community <br />Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of Five <br /> Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) for exclusive use by Contractor during the <br /> <br /> 8/15/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
