0 1{ I G I N A L 10/6/97 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13214 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT NO. 022 REV. 1 UNDER MASTER <br /> AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL-AID FOR <br /> URBAN TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PROJECTS FOR <br /> INSTALLATION OF RUBBERIZED GRADE CROSSINGS; AND <br /> RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 12838 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City entered into a Master Agreement <br />for Federal-Aid Program on October 3, 1977 pursuant to the Federal-Aid For <br />Urban System Projects with the State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 2 of Article II of the <br />aforementioned agreement, this Council seeks funding for transportation system <br />repairs to improve safety by installing at-grade rubberized crossings at 15 <br />locations along the Caltrain corridor within San Mateo County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 12838 adopted July 29, 1996, this <br />Council approved and authorized the execution of Program Supplement No. 022 <br />which allocated funds only for the preliminary engineering phase of work, but <br />acknowledged that it would subsequently be revised;; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Program Supplement No. 022 Rev. 1 revises the allocation of <br />funds to include the aforesaid preliminary engineering phase and adds the <br />construction engineering and construction phases, and provides that Program <br />Supplement No. 22 be superseded by Program Supplement No. 022 Rev. 1; and <br /> <br />Reso-307 1 <br />F:~shared~redwood\council <br />DES:djk <br />09/24/97 <br /> <br /> <br />
