6.2C <br />Page 2 <br />Both of the subject projects have been successfully completed in accordance with the <br />project plans and specifications. One change order was issued for each of the two <br />projects; <br />1) 2004105 -- a credit amount of $4,827.60 (1.50% of the project cost) was <br />issued as penalty to the contractor for using non-conforming aggregate material, <br />and for a final quantity adjustment, <br />2) 2005106 -- a credit amount of $6,711.85 (1.40% of the project cost) was <br />issued for a final quantity adjustment. <br />Alternative <br />Do not accept project(s) which would be contrary to prior Council action. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Funds in the amount of $900,000 and $1,200,000, respectively, were appropriated in <br />the 2004105, and 2005J06 Capital Improvement Program budget as part of the Gas Tax <br />Construction, and Transportation (Measure "!~"} Funds, for the Roadway Management <br />System Program. The change order credit of $11,539.45 will be returned to the <br />Roadway Management Program funds for future use. <br />M.
